Engineering Students Tour Curry Supply

MARTINSBURG, PA – On April 29, Curry Supply Company hosted nine engineering students and three teachers from Hollidaysburg High School at their corporate headquarters in Martinsburg, PA.

The students enjoyed lunch while Jeff Shaw, Sales Manager, shared the history of Curry Supply and introduced them to the company’s commercial service vehicle product line. Dave Beach, Director of Operations and Engineering, talked to them about the company’s engineering capability and the skill set required to succeed in that field.

After lunch, the students were taken on a tour of the facility including the company’s fabrication, tank, assembly, and paint shops so they could see how critical engineering is to producing a quality end product. A few Curry Supply products, including an On-Road Water Truck, a Mechanics Truck, and a Vacuum Truck were on display and the students were given an opportunity to see a demonstration of each and to ask questions.

“We were thrilled to host these promising young engineering students,” said Jason Ritchey, President. “We pride ourselves on recruiting top talent and hope that they will consider a position with Curry Supply in the future.”
