Curry Supply Operates as General Store

Under the leadership of Lyonel Ritchey, 1st generation, Curry Supply Company operates as a general store from its Martinsburg, Pennsylvania facility selling supplies to the local farming community.
1955

Curry Expands

Curry Supply Company expands to operate a feed mill and grain storage facility.
1967

Opportunity For Growth

Seeing an opportunity to further grow the business, Curry Supply begins selling used trucks.
1972

Curry Begins Selling Industrial Equipment & Trucks

Due to dwindling opportunity, the feed mill closes. Seeing few independent dealers selling used industrial equipment and trucks, the company begins selling bulldozers, backhoe loaders, log skidders, loaders, truck tractors, and other service vehicles.
1984

Ownership Changes

Founder, Lyonel Ritchey, passes away. Ownership transfers to sons Bob, Cary, and Joe Ritchey, 2nd generation, who usher in a period of significant growth for the company. A new logo is introduced highlighting the full company name and the year the company was established.
1988

Manufacturing Begins

The company begins assembling new equipment, including Lube Trucks and Water Trucks. Manufacturing operations begin.
1995

Curry Opens Parts Division

For customer convenience, and to expand the parts distribution business, the company opens a separate, but wholly owned parts division – Central Hydraulics in Roaring Spring, PA.
1995

Assembly Shop Is Opened

A large, dedicated assembly shop is built on the Martinsburg, PA property, further expanding the capabilities of the company.
1996

Full Service

Equipment delivery and pickup begins so customers have full service, from purchasing to delivery.
2001

Field Service Starts

Offering yet another customer benefit, company begins offering field service for those customers who need on-site repair.
2008

Shop Expansion

The shop facility is expanded, adding even more bays and increasing the company’s manufacturing capacity.

3rd Generation Growth

The 3rd generation of Ritchey’s take ownership of the company. Chris, Bob Ritchey’s son; Mark and Jason, Cary Ritchey’s sons; and Mike, Joe Ritchey’s son. Together they aggressively grow the business to unprecedented levels.

Custom Fab & Design

A dedicated engineering department is added to offer custom truck design and fabrication.

Locomotive Cabs

Curry Supply begins manufacturing locomotive cabs.

Central Hydraulics adds branch location in Eighty Four, PA

Jason Ritchey is named President, Curry Supply Co.

CS Trucking Is Created

The CS Trucking division is created, making trucking available to the general public.

Continued Growth

CS Trucking continues to grow and adds a location in Dover, Ohio.

Central Hydraulics Relocates

Central Hydraulics outgrows facility and relocates to 3x larger facility.

Curry Rail Services

The locomotive cabs manufacturing moves into a facility in Hollidaysburg, PA and the Curry Rail Services division is created.

Curflo Opens

CURFLO opens in Houston, Texas.

Expansion To Houston

Curry Supply expands to Houston, Texas to better serve customers in the Southwest and also for easy access to the port for fast and economical international shipments.

85 Years Of Business!

After 85 years of continuous business, Curry Supply is one of the largest and most respected commercial service vehicle manufacturers in the country and its footprint crosses the globe.

Central Hydraulics Becomes Curry Fluid Power

Central Hydraulics rebrands as Curry Fluid Power to better align itself with the members of Curry Supply Holdings. In addition, this decision to rebrand aids to eliminate confusion with other companies that shared the Central Hydraulics name.

Curry Designs Opens

Curry Supply Holdings announces the newest addition to the family: Curry Designs, an industrial decal supply company specializing in custom decal kits. The overall goal for Curry Designs is to fill the need for a reliable decal and graphics supplier within Curry Supply Holdings, while also providing a revolutionized decal ordering process for new customers.
